Poolie07
Yesterday I ordered one of Virgin Media's V HD box's. Downstairs I have a V+HD box and upstairs, as part of a multiroom deal, I am going to have a V HD box. My only problem being, the TV I have upstairs (a Samsung LE26R74BD) only has one HDMI output, and I currently have my PS3 connected via HDMI. I have looked into alternatives, that would still provide me a 720p/1080i output. I found these component cables: http://www.play.com/Games/PlayStation3/4-/3326138/Sony-PS3-Component-AV-Cable/Product.html Sony's own, which have a comment saying they are the only ones that did not give a ghosting effect at times.Another listed effect was that DVD upscaling would not be available neither. I also know that there are HDMI to DVI connectors available. What I would like to know is what would give me the best signal, or whether there would be no difference? Also any recommendations of what to buy? Thanks In Advance.
Corris Veteran Posted May 23, 2010 Veteran Share Posted May 23, 2010 Could you not just get a double connector type thing? So you can plug in two HDMI cables into one slot, maybe something like this http://www.eclipsecomputers.com/product.aspx?code=LE-MOHD31&af=

philcruicks
And there will be no loss of quality? no unlike older video tech HDMI is a digital signal, the switch only has to transmit a 0 or 1 so there is no loss of quality. That's deff your best option. Electric Jolt 1 Share
