it was hard getting used to the new control feel.

i remember older SC were alot smother in terms of movement and weapons.

but i still enjoyed SCC alot!!:.

i wouldnt mind action over stealth.

but atleast make it smoother to move Sam which it was in previous games in the series.

I would probably say that this was one of my biggest gripes playing with the SCC demo; the game didn't feel or play right.

It's hilarious that I can pop in an Xbox 1 game, Black, which is a great game, a great shooter, and despite being an older title, I can remap all of the commands on the controller. Had Conviction allowed for this, which a much less powerful title from 3-4 years ago permits, I may have changed some of my feelings toward the title.

Maybe it was just that, but you bring up the repetition. if anything SC 1-4 never really changed, they all played the same. I know people liked it, I do as well, but if you can't bring in newer gamers and keep sales up using the same gameplay you're forced to make a change.

Double Agent was a pathetic PC port. Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory featured fluid movement animation unlike the sudden movements akin to controllers rather than the keyboard/mouse setup and the game also supported high resolutions unlike the pathetic 1600x1200 max resolution of DA. Chaos Theory remains to date one of the best games I have ever played. The story, the gameplay and the overall atmosphere accompanied by Amon Tobin's music sets it apart from all other games in terms of quality and enjoyment.

Conviction was quite boring and played more of a shooter than a complicated, challenging game like Chaos Theory.

/also believed that Assassin's Creed's story was VERY boring and an awful PC port
