deletedxyz
The concept behind the game was good; however, the execution was poor. Also, this is an interesting read: http://www.msxbox-wo...-not-proud.html Definitely poor management decisions. It was very evident as I played the game when I noticed one feature was brilliantly executed and its companion feature did not work well at all. However, I take that link's content with a grain of salt. This technician is whining about the game's development because of a stubborn project manager then calls for it to be scrapped? He is part of the problem too. He should collaborated with others and made an assertive dissent with the rest of the team against the project manager instead of whining about it through some blog or email. I think GameTrailers rated it best. It gave Design and Story an 8+ and Presentation and Gameplay a sub 5 score. I only loved it because of the unique story, great voice acting and action rpg element. Other than that, it's nothing more than a sub average shooter.
protocol7
Well, I just finished it. Great story. Kept me interested all the way through. It's just a pity the graphics and engine are dragging the game down. I didn't realise it had been in development for so long. I guess the graphics were done first thing and never revised as it easily looks like a game from 4 or more years ago. I'll probably play it back again in a few months to try out other options and see how much the story changes (if it changes much at all). Overall I'd rate it a 7/10 based on the storyline and gameplay (which wasn't that bad really). Loses 2 marks for poor graphics and another 2 for the laggy engine that had a habit of stuttering and then spinning me around 180 degrees in awkward moments. Gains a bonus point for the story.
