Nicholas-c Veteran Posted June 15, 2010 Veteran Share Posted June 15, 2010 I think he means the Move is almost a direct copy of the Wii, even if it is more precise. They even have a nunchuk for it. Yeah, this is true however it re-iterates the point of it being the best motion controller system.
CentralDogma
So, what does everyone think of the mobile side of things? To me, it looked like the PSP got crushed by the 3DS. Nintendo released new hardware and a huge list of A+ title from so many publishers coming out for it. Sony mentioned a couple of titles, but spent most of the time on their new ad campaign for it. lalalawawawa
Big yea for casual gamers. Big FU for me personally. Not a single PC game presentation, but I guess E3 is the wrong place to ask for that kind.
Hedon
Microsoft > Sony > Nintendo. Nintendo may have had a better conference than both, I really can't say. I am just not a fan of their game lineups. The only games I play on my Wii are Mario Galaxy and Super Mario for Wii. The games just don't appeal to me that much. My son would probably love the Zelda offering though. Sony failed with an over priced Move (no surprise), laggy at that. Twisted Metal, while nice to see it's coming at some point, looked pretty bad "technically", but game play looked prime. Move games were mostly Wii shovelware. PSN+ wasn't that great either. 3D was overkill and gimmcky. I give them props for GT5, PSP game commitments, and a few of their exclusive games they showed. Microsoft failed with Kinect, showing too much Wii shovelware and scripted chats with chicks talking to each other over Messenger/Video Chat. I was hoping MS would surprise us with a last minute addition to Tiger 11 with Kinect support, but no dice. No mention of Kinect pricing either. MS also didn't show the usual medley of upcoming games like they usually do. I give them props for a new kick ass console. The Gears of War 3 game demo was definitely the best game shown at E3. What I did like about Kinect is the NXE integration that I was hoping for.

red.
I want to see more of Civilization V so hopefully that is shown at E3. Seems a bit strange that Sony didn't show The Last Guardian and Agent. I guess they'll be showing that at TGS? And nothing about Starhawk (please? :p)

The floor show began y'day and will get in to full swing now. Well since we're not @ E3.. we really have nothing except some gameplay movies, interviews and that's about it. I was just all for the big announcements, since that's what I could really be excited for. I could be wrong though... this is my 2nd E3 I've followed.. the last couple of years.. I was just too busy. :s
Hedon
Is it just me, or has Ubisoft pretty much gone down hill? Seems they are about to fall off the face of the planet.
Spookie
I was just all for the big announcements, since that's what I could really be excited for. A lot will be demoed behind closed doors. Valve is showing portal 'properly' but they won't be doing it on the E3 floor. So you'll likely get features from announced games and raw gameplay footage. Oh and keys for MoH tomorrow. :p
Massiveterra
I think this proves that Activision has way too much money that they don't even know what to do with it http://kotaku.com/5563723/activisions-night-of-far-too-many-stars
