+John Teacake MVC Posted June 2, 2010 MVC Share Posted June 2, 2010 I have a Macbook 6,1 and I cant get it to boot from CD. Am I correct in thinking that I reboot the Macbook and hold down the letter C and it should boot from CD. I do that and then it attempts to read the CD then just goes to the Windows 7 Boot Menu. Frustrated at this!
.Neo
Care to give more details? What kind of CD-Rom are you booting from? Does the CD-Rom appear in System Preferences > Startup Disk? Does the CD-Rom appear when holding down option while booting?

+John Teacake MVC Posted June 3, 2010 Author MVC Share Posted June 3, 2010 That works thanks! Held down the options key at start up. Then put the CD in and it appears as a bootable device. Dont know why the holding down the C button doesn't boot straight from CD.
