Wont boot from CD!

Recommended Posts

I have a Macbook 6,1 and I cant get it to boot from CD. Am I correct in thinking that I reboot the Macbook and hold down the letter C and it should boot from CD. I do that and then it attempts to read the CD then just goes to the Windows 7 Boot Menu. Frustrated at this!

Care to give more details? What kind of CD-Rom are you booting from? Does the CD-Rom appear in System Preferences > Startup Disk? Does the CD-Rom appear when holding down option while booting?

That works thanks! Held down the options key at start up. Then put the CD in and it appears as a bootable device. Dont know why the holding down the C button doesn't boot straight from CD.
