Ironman273
PS3 Twistdock Manages Uncommon Tastefulness When I hear "console docking station," I picture some Walmart bargain bin monstrosity, the result of an unprotected courtship between a plastic paper tray and one of those sports-themed remote caddies. But the swiveling PS3 Twistdock doesn't look so bad! Accommodating both the original PS3 and the PS3 Slim, the Twistdock not only holds a console, it charges two controllers at once while simultaneously expanding USB ports by four. (In other words, you get two dedicated ports just for the controllers on top of a 4-port hub.) I'm not sure the idea is any more practical than setting a PS3 in its normal configuration and picking up a standalone controller charger if you need the extra USBs, but hey, swiveling PS3! Just check out this crazy-amazing video! Sadly, it runs the equivalent of $100, out now in the UK. Source: Gizmodo
Jan Veteran Posted June 2, 2010 Veteran Share Posted June 2, 2010 I would buy it but ?100 is just too much for a dock, considering the PS3 is ?230+

Elliott
Wow, that's really cool. My current PS3 setup is fine, though.
pisty
i don't know i'd be more intersted in something with a bad ass cooling system that wouldn't take much more space, i mean what's the idea of getting a ps3 slim if you're gonna make it big and more over what's the idea of making the ps3 fat fatter? i don't really like it and as for the extra usb ports you can get really cheap extensions like these USB Plug 1 in and get 5 i personally bought one that worked with me just fine you know maybe if it even had an external battery that would save your ps3 if the electricity goes out ( HDD can get ruined ) then i'd say meh, i'd give it a look but from what i saw up there, thanks sir not intersted! DirtyLarry Veteran Posted June 2, 2010 Veteran Share Posted June 2, 2010 It is actually aesthetically pleasing and serves a purpose, but WAY to much money. When it winds up in the bargain bin, which I am quite sure it will at this price, I may pick one up.
SimplySchizo
I could use the extra ports, though not for that amount of cash. :/
