  1. 1. I will...

    • be downloading the alphas the moment they are up.
    • be waiting for the LTS release.
    • be installing this in a VM for testing and possible deployment throughout my school/company.
    • be avoiding this, as pink is not my colour.
    • be avoiding this, as KDE is not for me.

Thanks, but no, thanks.

Although I love the pink Kopete:

The fluffy borders that overlap into the inner content and over the background are interesting from a technical perspective. But the garish color and texture are quite painful on the eyes.

That alone makes me want it NOW!

My 7 year old step daughter loves pink so I was thinking this would be good aesthetically for her. She is running on Ubuntu though right now. I might though just be moved enough to go find a Pinkish gnome theme instead of the one she has now. :)

Finally a linux distro that will find its target market:

8 year old girls and the pedophiles that love and chase them on the interweb.

I cant wait for baboon arse red desktop linux

Kill it before even more people see linux as a plaything and not an alternate to redmonds OS

Would be nice to throw on some kid's netbook for schoolwork or something.

Other than that, I can't think of any reason someone would use this.

Lol, good joke, almost.. wait, what? It's real?

Need a new option on that poll. I will... "be pouring bleach into my eyes to get the image out"

I had to run an experiment with that. Asked my daughter to look at it. (Close, she's going on 7.) Once the convulsions stopped, she just glared at me and walked away.. although to be honest if it had Bender or Spongebob on it she'd probably be more interested. Takes after me I guess, never got into that super sweet/cuddly stuff.

Sounds like your daughter and my oldest son would get along just fine. He's 4 1/2 but has always liked older girls LOL.

Wow, to be honest I really like it.

But as with most distros that I actually like: too lazy to install.

Maybe I'll pop in a Live distro os this in my dvd bay, but in the end it's just another linux distro which has ugly fonts, a good first look although (to me) but lacks of support for too many of my apps.

Everyone now start flaming me when I say: the app world of OS X is totally good for me and fits me just nice.

I honestly like the them, though. Too bad the tones/transitions/elements/etc... don't vary a lot, though.
