iczman
I'm using Netgear RP614 router, and I'm having some trouble with port forwarding.... Here is the question, I have 3 computers on a router trying to connect to one Port Number, 9110. How exactly do I config the router to port forward the same port to multiple comps? For example: 192.168.X.2 Start Port : 9110, End Port 9110 192.168.X.3 Start Port : 9110, End Port 9110 192.168.X.4 Start Port : 9110, End Port 9110 I've opened port 9110 for the first comp (192.168.0.2), but when I tried to do the same for the rest of the comps (0.3 and 0.4) the firmware denied me with "The Settings were not saved due to an overlap of the Port Ranges"... I could do this on my friend's Linksys router tho :(
liar2
I think you're talking about using the DMZ function... I'm not certain, but I'm pretty sure that's what it is

I could do this on my friend's Linksys router tho :( You can't do it. What you may be able to do is what I do with Remote Desktop is change the port number on each program to something different then forward to that port. I have 8 Remote Desktops on the same network. The normal port to access each Remopte desktop is 3389, and I have changed 7 of the Remote Desktop's to answer on a different port. So when I connect, I do an www.bla.com:3389 or www.bla.com:32132 etc... I have also used VNC on the clients. I logged into the remote desktop on one machine then VNC'ed to each of the clients. Night Prowler
I think you're talking about using the DMZ function... I'm not certain, but I'm pretty sure that's what it is I believe you can only place one machine on the DMZ and it's not recommended as it's completly vulnerable to attacks.
