Unrealistic
http://www.joystiq.com/2010/06/16/move-navigation-controller-can-be-replaced-by-dualshock/ Don't feel like paying the $30 asking price for a PlayStation Move Navigation Controller? There is a cheaper (albeit less comfortable) solution: just use the DualShock controller. At an E3 presentation about the Move, Anton Mikhailov confirmed that the two controllers are interchangeable. This method of control was actually used at Tokyo Game Show last year, to demonstrate the newly implemented motion controls of Resident Evil 5. While using the DualShock may not be the most attractive way to play, it's certainly nice to know that you have an option to avoid the cost of entry. It may not be as comfortable, but it's cheaper and I could live with that honestly, as long as I don't have to stand up while gaming.
Jimmy0
Wait... you're saying hold the entire DualShock controller in one hand, in such a way that I can utilise the left analogue stick, whilst still leaving my other hand free for the wand?
DrunknMunky Veteran Posted June 17, 2010 Veteran Share Posted June 17, 2010 If all you needed from the dual shcok was the thumb stick that would be pretty easy. But seeing as the navi part of Move also includes the X and O buttons, it's too much of a hassle stretching your fingers to the other side of the DS. jerzdawg
While great that it is an option, I can't see anyone actually being able to hold the dual shock with one hand and being able to use the thumb stick/buttons at the same time (maybe if you have really big hands...). Hedon
Well, at least it's an option. Can't complain about that.

DrunknMunky Veteran Posted June 17, 2010 Veteran Share Posted June 17, 2010 The dildo has the X and O as well. Seems a bit redundant? But in that case, I could probably use the thumb stick & navi perfectly fine. Not ideal, but I could do it. I think I'd rather just wait for a deal to crop up online to buy the set though. I just held the controller in my left hand and if all you need to use is one thumb stick then its actually pretty damn easy.
Malechai Veteran Posted June 18, 2010 Veteran Share Posted June 18, 2010 totally. just tried it myself. easy to use the analog and even l1 and l2 buttons with 1 hand.
DirtyLarry Veteran Posted June 18, 2010 Veteran Share Posted June 18, 2010 Hmm, okay, maybe I will check this out eventually then, or let me rephrase that, ask for it for Christmas. I already have the eye (I had very grand sticker plans for LBP that never took off ), so the fact I can use the regular controller really makes it a bit more likely I may check it out. Hedon
You just bought those to make people THINK you like the PS3. You must be rich or something.

Actually, my comment was more aimed at you having the PSEye itself, since I can't think of many reasons to own one. Had nothing to do with it being PS-related.
