What game deserves a sequel?

i thought they said don't bother posting games that alread have sequels announced...

They announced this a while a go and no one has seen anything about it. I'd say it is either postponed or on the slow-boat-to-china.

Outcast :) I just remembered it... that game must be one of the most forgotten gems.. few people played it, but it was a wonderful adventure with fantastic music. I've already heard that there won't be any sequel due to the poor sales of the original, but I'd really love to see it on the shelves.

what about an Interstate 72 sequel, and i know there was an '82 one done but it was pap.

I'72 was a great game a co-op version would be really good, or I'72 clans with MP clan warfare mmmmmm

I so remember that game. I would love to see a sequel...this time actually playing on a pc that can handle it :)

Well I thought of a few they could make today:

1. Blaster Master (NES) - I think everyone liked this game if you played it,

2. A new Zelda game that uses the same style as Ocarina of Time. Lucifer360 mentioned this before. I do not understand why Nintendo does not understand how to keep the same type of game, but to tweak it a bit by updating the graphics and changing the story. It was one of the fastest selling console games when it came out and I do not think anyone was disappointed by it. Why they chose to make a powder-puff girl Link in Wind Waker and make the game cartoony is beyond me. They should just do what Rockstar did to make GTA: Vice City better then GTA 3. They were able to keep the same winning formula, make the game interesting, and new at the same time. That last sentence probably did not make any sense, but you probably know what I mean.

3. A decent James Bond game that lives up to the standards that Goldeneye set. I do not know about you guys, but the Bond games released after Goldeneye were pure crap. None of those games lived up to Goldeneye's quality. I miss having Goldeneye shootouts with my friends.

4. Make a Castlevania game like Symphony of the Night. The Super Metroid type of game with a kickass soundtrack made it a great game. The replay value in trying to find everything in the game was a plus too. There are some games that should not be made 3-D and the Castlevania series is one of them!

A lot of you picked some good games, but I hope the person who said Daikatana 2 was joking.

Old school adventure games..... yeah baby!!!!

Leisure Suit Larry

Well, Sam and Max and Full Throttle get sequels. But LSL and PQ were/are still more popular even today.

Fatal Frame is also getting a sequal called Fatal Frame 2:Crimson Butterfly.

I'm so looking forward to this and Silent Hill 3.

I would like to see sequals for:

Master of Magic (PC)

Shadowrun (Snes)

Robotech:Battlecry (multiplatform)

Edit: Corrected "might of magic" to "master of magic". Microporse was **** hot in those times.

Thanks for the link to UFO:HQ. Looks very promising to me...

I don't played Shadowrun on SNES (perhaps i'll try it later this week on an emulator)

But since i played it as PnP i wished there would be a pc game playing in the shadowrun world.

There was once a shadowrun pc game but it was cancelled before the firm completed it :(

But I heard romours that Bioware thinks of making one! Sounds good!

And yeah Terra Nova was a hot game. Needs a sequel...
