zeke009
I tried searching on Steam the other night, DB errors was all I got in return. A search here showed that DX10 was buggy on initial release, but while it worked in DX9 there is no AA. So... is there anyone here gaming with DX11 enabled and able to use the Steam overlay? Sorry, wrong forum... this was meant for PC under Gamer's Hangout.
ViperAFK
I remember during the beta both dx10 and 11 didnt work with the overlay, because the steam overlay simply didnt support it, but it was updated to support dx10 and 11 afiak, don't know why it isn't working now. I use dx10 and it is fine, dx9 is actually the "buggy" mode (visual glitches) dx10 works fine (with the overlay too) and allows aa, the only difference dx11 has is slightly better shadows. Yusuf M. Veteran Posted June 19, 2010 Veteran Share Posted June 19, 2010 That issue was fixed during the BF:BC2 beta with a Steam client update. It added in-game overlay support for DX10.1/DX11. Your best bet would be to contact Steam support. (Y)
Argi
It does work with DX11.
zeke009
Xfire now works in DX11, it wasn't awhile ago so I had to disable it. Steam Overlay isn't working though, even after I changed the key to activate it. Would running something like EVGA Precision or MSI Afterburner interfere? I'll give Steam support a shot since there are others confirming it does work with the recent client updates.
