0 Cupcakes
How about you contact your local community college instead? That's the first and only place you should be contacting to figure this out. Sometimes jumping to the internet isn't the best idea when you should go to the source.

0 primexx
Even with your experience, an associates degree is not going to meet the minimum qualifications needed for a teaching certificate, depending on the state you reside in... aren't institutions hiring more industry people now who have the experience and actually know how to do things instead of being stingy with pieces of paper? 0 zhangm Supervisor Posted June 21, 2010 Supervisor Share Posted June 21, 2010 aren't institutions hiring more industry people now who have the experience and actually know how to do things instead of being stingy with pieces of paper? Just because you know how to "do things" doesn't mean that you can teach well. There is a negative correlation between level of specialization and expertise, and the ability to convey that knowledge to people who are not experts in the field. People in industry (and even academic researchers) are prone to distilling complex ideas and protocols into simple labels, and consistently fail to explain things to a sufficient degree. Anyway, is there even a web design course being offered at the place you want to work?
0 micro
Exactly, just because you have a PHD doesn't mean that you can actually teach people things. :)
