soniqstylz
http://www.gamerzines.com/ps3/news/rdr-free-xp-glitch-ps3.html Whilst today saw the anticipated release of the free 'Outlaws to the End' DLC for Rockstar's acclaimed title, Red Dead Redemption, it would seem that its arrival has also been greeted by a number of glitches that now plague the PlayStation 3 version of the game. Those booting up the into one of the many Public Free Roam sessions will soon notice that all fellow players are not only invisible, but that you are also unable to spawn your steed within the server. However, these aren't perhaps quite as worrying as the worst of the now present glitches. Travel to any of the Gang Hideouts scattered across the map, and you will find that none of the enemies spawn. You will, however, be greeted with a 'Hideout Complete' message and be awarded with a nominal amount of XP for doing so, all in a matter of seconds. With Expert Targeting on, Solomon's Folly awards 400XP per time, whilst Tumbleweed provides 500XP for example. Those looking to exploit such a glitch, will be able to continually select 'Replay' on the Personal Stats screen, and begin to quickly rank their character in a matter of minutes. Keep doing so, and you'll be able to whizz your way righ up to level 50, unlocking all weapons, steeds etc on the way. We sure hope that Rockstar are able to eliminate such an explot as soon as possible. It's a true shame that such a masterpiece of a title has been hampered by continual glitches and issues since launch.

Nick H. Supervisor Posted June 23, 2010 Supervisor Share Posted June 23, 2010 I'm working my way through the singleplayer before I go to multiplayer (or at least, I'll wait until a couple of my friends get RDR so we can form a posse), so I'm not overly fussed about this. Hopefully Rockstar will have it sorted by the time I give MP a go, since I don't want to cheat my way through the ranks. It defeats the purpose, if not the fun of playing the game. You dont have to worry about having people that will form a posse unless you want it to be only your friends. because i always get invites to join a posse. Yeah, I know. But I'd prefer the first trek in to the West to be with friends. I'd be too put off if I ended up with a group of strangers that were shouting "n00b" at every moment  Alright, that's a slight exaggeration (or at least, I hope it is), but you know what I mean. Most things are always better experienced for the first time with friends rather than strangers.
