SkyDX
Well, a friend of mine yesterday told me that PSN+ Subscribers will get Little Big Planet for free as the downloadable version and I want to make a 12 year subscription as soon as it's out. So yeah in the process I thought it's a good opportunity to trade in my physical copy of Little Big Planet at Gamestop, how much of value can I roughly expect if I trade it for another game? I've set my eyes on Star Ocean the Last Hope International, would Little Big Planet and possibly Mod Nation Racers be sufficient for that as a trade in? Thanks in advance!^^
DrunknMunky Veteran Posted June 25, 2010 Veteran Share Posted June 25, 2010 Honestly, not a lot. LBP dropped in retail value very quickly and sold lots of copies (i.e common as muck for trade value).
D!ABOL!C
Honestly, not a lot. LBP dropped in retail value very quickly and sold lots of copies (i.e common as muck for trade value). On top of that the used copies sell a bit cheaper too, just checking on their site, it's around $23USD to $24USD for it. Probably the best thing to do is just call them and see what the TIV is and also check to see if there is a trade promotion, where you get bonus credit for trading in 3 or more games, assuming that is an option. Jason S. Global Moderator Posted June 25, 2010 Global Moderator Share Posted June 25, 2010 call them and ask... no biggie. btw, gamestop gives you nothing for trade-ins unless it's a super hot current game. occasionally they'll have deals where you'll get 50% more for each game. Cupcakes
You can always check out Amazon's trade-in pricing too. They'll give you an estimate on the page itself so you can see if it's worth it or not :) mistical 1 Share

Treemonkeys
It's a bigger hassle but you will get a much better price selling it on something like ebay or craigslist. I do pretty much all of my game purchasing on craigslist now, you can always find people to buy your games or even trade you game for game (instead of game for game + $50 that gamestop will offer you).
