devobitch Posted July 11, 2003 Share Posted July 11, 2003 if your transfering files across a cat 5 cable between 2 pc's the cable isnt the limiting factor its hard drive speed the receiveing computer will only take it from the sending one as fast as it can write it to the hard drive what you could do is use a ram drive on both that would be lots faster make sense?
