protomor
Im back from Japan and I sat by myself in a miserable seat. I sat the second row back from business class. Meaning that I could SEE business class but that was it. they have windows between economy and business. you can see the stuff they are doing but thats all... It wasnt even the first row because then I could stretch my legs. the ****** infront of me couldnt deal with all that space and decided hed recline his seat all the way back. There was some kid sitting behind me and her mother thought it would be nice not to control her and let her kick me seat for 14 HOURS. If that wasnt enough there were a bunch of other kids, each randomly yelling at the top of their lungs. It seemed like it they wanted to scream for fun, one kid yelled cuz he got his hand stuck on the lunch table thing. On the bright side, i got free beer and the flight attendants were decently hot. and the buddhist monk from thailand was nice, kind of creepy when he tho. he barely spoke english and was laughing at blue crush when the black dude dances.. this other lady on my other side was nice but thought it was fun to clap her hands randomly for half hours. I hate planes.

aem4162
stupid parents...i guess you asked the attendant to talk to mommie dearest and the butthead in front of you? i have no desire to ever ride in a plane, which is kinda weird since i've been around them all my life because i live next door to an af base  my deepest sympathies to you
protomor
the mom lady was passed out more often than I was. She kept ordering bloody marries. the guy infront of me wouldnt wake up either, he just reclined and went to sleep. the attendants were too busy serving alcohol to ppl (even me :p) to bother anyone about their dumb ass selves/kids
z1ppeh
ack, ive got a 4hour plane ride in about 6 hours time. going off to rhodes for 2 weeks. hope that will be fun, just me and my gf! hope my 4hour flight goes well, only thing ive got is extra leg room cos im a tad on the tall side
protomor
if you dont have anything to do. get a beer or two and just do your best and pass out. bloody marries seem to do it well for other ppl. mine was 14 hours so it was a tad bit longer but flying still sucks. id rather have that thing that goes up your butt that mr. garrison from south park made. shihchiun
that's quite a plane flight... 14 hours... i've been on planes quite a bit, and it never really sucked that bad, other than the fact you have to sit for more than half a day, and the constant noise of the plane itself.. Shifty
me and protomor were on the same flight. i indulged in the bloody mary's too. after 6, i was good and drunk and passed out for 6 hours. unfortunately the kid next to me had some kind of morbid blatter problem and drank nothing BUT apple juice the whole flight. after 10 minutes of consuming the apple juice he had to pee. not too bad, but considering he sat next to the window and i was in the isle seat, it suck major ass... expectially when im trying to get some sleep!! ike
i'm about 6'2", so i have pretty long legs. about a month ago i went out to las vegas and back, from where i live, florida. this was the first time i'd been on a plane for about 3 years. and good GOD i had no leg room whatsoever. it was absolutely horrible. and then i tried to use my laptop which really kinda sucked (it's a big laptop) but once the person in front of me put their seat allll the way back using my laptop was just plain impossible. the airline was continental by the way. nice flights, nice service, HORRIBLE seating. my girlfriend recently flew to new york on JetBlue, she liked it a lot. every seat is leather and has television and games and stuff. the only problem is it's an entire fleet of airbus, not boeing. airbus kinda scares me... aem4162
you have to make sure that you can get up and move around or there is a danger of getting blood clots in your legs
protomor
ah ive gone flights to japan without getting up. the flight attendants ask if your ok now and then. Now a days the planes have tvs on the seats and you can play games but the controlers are so messed up some buttons dont work. if you hold the controler up and down its for the tv/movie settings but the guy near me couldnt figure it out that you can turn it sideways and use it like a normal game pad so hed push up to go right. Since they suck so much it worked half the time. the guy played mario bros 1, the SAME stage, the SAME jump for the WHOLE flight. he kept dying the whole time, about a dozen times he made it past it but quickly died due to anything. DaveMode
Last year I took a trip to Bangkok. I timed how long the trip took on the way back from the moment I took of in Bangkok to the moment I arrived back home in Orlando was 26 hours. That includes layovers.. but none of them lasted more than a couple hours. On the longest leg (US to Japan) I simply down as much free beer as I can to help me sleep.. since I have a hard time sleeping on planes.
