Critique my site!

Question

Hi guys!

Spent a while ironing out some bugs with my site and sorting out the email system but after looking at it for so long I cant tell if there are any issues or bugs left!

So as most of you have a keen eye for all things web related I am asking you to have a look at my site and let me knows what's good, what's bad ( please no comments on what rubbish I write!) and what needs fixing!

With out further ado.....

Fusion3k

Thanks in advance!

Really nice i like it -

The top is real nice, (but the screenshots on the right look a bit weird? they dont make sense...)

I like all the little details like the bullet points etc...and the email/twitter etc are great!

If i had to give a comment, its when you scroll down past the header/ menu etc....its just plain white and text.

Have you tried making the spacer a bit more obvious or ....i dont really have a solution for you unfortunately..... (but this is being really picky)

Also - most blogs tend to have a small preview of the article, and a picture to symbolise the article and then a read more button for the details which i think works better than just showing the whole article on the front page. This means you could shorten the pages height (its very long) and then it might look like you have less white space?

Im no expert, but if any of this helps it would have been worth the time. Good luck!

I would make the fonts for title and content of posts a little bigger.

Also, you could make a little darker, as someone here already said.

Looks nice, but everything is too bright. Make it a little darker (Content).

Which parts look to bright? is it the white or the background around the main content?

Ah that's images of the webmail app! and for the space I could just use a double line break in grey?

I will sort out the index today so that it only shows previews never thought of that!

Whats the point of this site?

Read the about page! Or if your lazy which I expect you are it's basically my personal blog for random stuff I find interesting.

Looks really nice to me, and I like that all of the product screenshots are either transparent or have a white background.

I think that the use of white with grey and blue accents makes for a site that's very easy on the eyes. (Y)

Looks very nice, I like the colour scheme. I don't see any screen shots anywhere like everyone is talking about though. What am I missing?!

Also, when I click on the Futurama blog post, I can see the first paragraph of text right at the top of the page, inside the header bit. Doesn't happen on any of the other blog posts. Just reporting the bug :).

It's kind of disappointing that you ask for critiques for your website when.. you're using a Wordpress theme that's available for free for anyone.

I know you've left in "Based off.." for "credit" in the footer but looking at them both, you haven't changed much from the original theme itself. Seems kind of.. pointless to critique something that isn't yours?

uh oh.

@OP, no worries if you're having a ready-made theme. I felt it was cool having a custom theme last time too, but not many really cared. Just have good content. :)

Site looks good, but if you are truly serious about working all the bugs out of your sites check them using Firefox. Down load the Web Developer Tools and then validate your HTML and CSS (if you are using CSS) through W3C. Using that method it shows that your site, even though it works, still contains 33 errors.
