thechronic
My Playstation 3 is due to go in for repair this week. It works its just i accidentally dropped it and it looks...a tad weird and its started having freezing issues. My question is, when i send it in for repair should it become necessary for some crazy reason to replace the hard drive or format or something, what will happen to the games i purchased off psn? will i lose them or can i get them again for free off psn? +Anarkii Subscriber² Posted July 13, 2010 Subscriber² Share Posted July 13, 2010 Games allready purchased through the PSN means you don't haveto repurchase them, thats the good news. The bad news is, you will have to re-download them.
DPyro
If your sending it into Sony, I'd recommend backing up your save games and deactivating any accounts to the PS3. If you have any copy protected game saves you might lose them in the event they send back a different refurb PS3. The deactivating accounts is also in case they send a refurb back.
