Tumble
I've had COD:MW2, GTAIV and i'm playing Red Dead Redemption right now... Red Dead is alright but i'm looking for something better, I've tried the God of War demo and i didn't like it too much. I like First Person Shooters, Racing games, and RPG's but i'm not too sure where to go from here. I still have a few days to return Red Dead and look into getting a better game. Hedon
Uncharted 2 recommendation here has well. It has online also. It's not the best multiplayer out there, but it holds it's own. It really does extend the value of the game.

Boz
Uncharted 2, Darksiders are both excellent games.. I loved Darksiders much much better than God of War III.. It had a better camera where you can actually see the whole environment and not have fixed camera angles, the story is awesome and the visuals are spectacular..plus it adds a lot of things God of War III doesn't have without making it overly complex. It's a great game and I mostly play FPSs too. Uncharted 2 is like literally playing a blockbuster movie. It's probably one of the best games I've played in my life as far as story, visuals, spectacle, action, platforming goes. If you want racing Grid is still one of the most fun racing games I've played so far.. it's just great.. Btw, also, if you've never played Heavenly Sword.. make sure you play that.. that game is short (5 hours) but is absolutely awesome..

Tumble
from what i read heavy rain has a different style of control. does that become a bother for playing the came or what? is heavy rain an FPS or an rpg? I'm probably going to pick them both up.

Its a must play game.

I'm probably going to pick them both up. It's not a shooter or an rpg. Well, I guess you could call it a quick time event rpg. In a way, you are role playing, but you are pressing buttons to have a sequence played out for you. Many scenes, if you just don't bother pressing a button to do the required action, the game will just move forward automatically even though you didn't press the button. Heavy Rain is an original game, and extremely well done.

I'm probably going to pick them both up. Heavy rain is "interactive storytelling" full of interactive cutscenes, branching, and walking around, brushing your teeth, showering, and yelling "Jason!" If you're into racers or shooters you might not like it. I know I didn't.
Tumble
well i went and returned the game and saw that i could get 200 bucks credit for my ps3 and one controller, i only paid 100 for it so i may just trade it in towards a different system, i've been through roughly 5 games and the only one i liked ended way too quick. that was cod:mw2. i might look into xbox 360, even though none of these new games are interesting to me at all. i'm more of a computer gaming type of person. Generally people who like online shooters gravitate towards the 360. Just by playing COD and Battlefield BC2 on the 360 with people from this board, you can have a whole army behind you when you play online
