Killzone 3 4-player co-op confirmed

A streamlined and responsive button layout would trump anything they would have to offer. Hell, I'd even take worse graphics. Anything. Just fix the damn controls!

They already released a statement saying they've made the controls like other FPS.

Their statement said they're changing the "weight" which is in response to the negative feedback of how heavy it feels to walk around and turn and aim

I still have to see something that actually has something to do with the button layout.

I kind of liked the heavy feel. Made it feel different compared to the other games.

And the only thing i hated about the controls was all the whining about them

"I'm confident that when Killzone 3 comes out, we're going to have a set of controls that will really appreciate the vast majority of audiences," he told the mag."

Sounds like more than just weight to me.

I really hope it is, because the weight and responsiveness is the context I got from the entire quote

?I?m confident that when Killzone 3 comes out, we?re going to have a set of controls that will really appreciate the vast majority of audiences,? he told the mag.The controls from Killzone 2 were heavily criticised for feeling too heavy. Hulst insisted the issue has now ?gone?.?The heavy sensation of KZ2 is absolutely gone,? he said. ?Instead, this feels much closer to standard run-and-gun responsiveness.?As well as the standard DualShock controller, the shooter is also compatible with Move, as confirmed by Hulst last month at E3.Killzone 3 releases next February for PlayStation 3.Thanks, GOONL!NE.

I could just imagine what that conversation's like...

"hey guys we gotta stick together...no seriously come back here...no we're going this way...where the hell are those other guys? ... no guys this way...we're at the end and they're still all the way in the beginning?"

You'll be happy to read this then :)

The results so far have been very encouraging. "Right now it's still a work in progress," Mathijs says, "but we're definitely getting there. We?ve recalibrated the dead zone to be more responsive and significantly reduced the input lag, resulting in far better accuracy. Best of all, we've managed to retain that sense of weight that set Killzone 2 apart from other shooters. I can't wait for people to try it out."

If it was 2007 this would have been big news, now we kind of expect it tbh :p

Good that it's there though, hopefully it'll encourage me to see the end this time!

(Y) but its good that it'll have it.

i didn't mind the speed of number 2. the pacing made sense with the game IMO. bumped up the sesitivity a bit in terms of moving left and right and i was golden. and now that they are fixing the controls the game sounds even better and better .

Kinda figured they would have to change the weighty or 'laggy' feel to the controls considering it has Move support, which would make it necassary to have a quicker reaction time. Really hoping the story is more like the PSP game this time, loved the feeling of immersion in that game.
