Rudy
See below: They work hard and put a lot of time (arguably too much time) into their games. The fans also very well appreciate it. I really don't see them as being arrogant at all, so much as it is about them wanting to do things right. In this day and age, who can argue with a developer that wants to take their time? Last thing we as gamers want is an unfinished pile of garbage. (Hellgate: London comes to mind) Anyone who was waiting for Duke Nukem Forever will disagree :p
treemonster
unfortunately this guy and his company are leading some of the worst trends in the industry these days. blizz has some great franchises and idgas what anyone says about wow it's probably the best mmo ever though it reached it fun peak in tbc. blizz still does a lot of things right like supporting diablo2 and sc after more than ten years, which you won't find at any other company except maybe valve. unfortunately they merged with the biggest trash spewing company in the industry, but lets' face it, activision's ****ty games sell like hot cakes. maybe the people have never played good games in these genres or something or can't hack it at those older games that still look great and are feature rich compared to trashware like mw2, but regardless these people eat this crap up like it's going out of style. and it's not like the quiet domination of of counterstrike or half life 2 back in the day. no this company can't help but talk about how it's the best selling game of all time and such, and some might say all the bad press about mw2 and the cod franchise is really good press afterall since people can't stop talking about it. and despite all the boycots and whining about dlc and such these games still make a killing. personally i don't think i'll be buying sc2 because it won't be on steam it seems. i try not to support retail game stores anymore because they do not support pc gamers anymore, unless you play wow or preorder months in advance. quite honestly the retail game stores in the nearest city have about as much shelf space dedicated to pc games as my local staples store. when diablo 3 comes out i'll probably make an effort to hit the road and buy it, but then i've been craving a good dungeon crawler so bad lately i reinstalled d2 and played it over tcp/ip with my bro. Livin in a box
He can run the company how he wants he just needs to stop the crap from falling out of his mouth whenever he opens it. I, however, WILL boycott Activision i wont be buying any of their games and any games i do want to play like Black Ops i will acquire by other means. ...Same!
