PlayStation Move Bundled Up, In Pictures

Are you ready to invest in motion control for your PlayStation 3? Sony has laid out your options for hopping onto the PlayStation Move bandwagon, three ways to make your PS3 Move-ready when the control scheme launches in September.

As it already specified at E3 2010, Sony is planning on offering two Move bundles. One that packs in a PlayStation 3, Sports Champions, a PlayStation Eye and a DualShock 3 will set you back a cool $399 USD. If you want to buy one of those fancy Navigation Control wands to go with it, $29.99 will get you one.

If you already have a PS3, this is what you're going to want.

The Move, Eye and hours of motion controlled sports delight will set you back $99.99 USD. Both bundles pack in a Blu-ray demo disc's worth of PS3 games alongside the beach volleyball, ping pong and archery fun.

If you already have one of those PlayStation Eyes, say to play Eye of Judgment on, and you want to play any of these games right here, you can buy the glowing Move controller for fifty bucks American.

PlayStation Move Demo Disc To Become A PSN Download

PlayStrum writes: "Earlier today, Sony went a bit in-depth with the official bundles for their PlayStation Move motion controller through a post on the PlayStation Blog. One bundle in particular (seen in the picture above) will be including the Sports Champions game for Move as well as a "Move Game demo disc". Those in the comments section were aware of this and, other than the lack of a special bundle for PlayStation Eye users, the other topic talked about a lot was the inclusion of the demo disc."

I only need the move controller, roughly around ?30 here, but I'll await and see what launch content is like.

I cannot understand why they found it necessary to put that ball at the end of the controller. it looks hideous. Fair enough it may be to help distinguish it from the Wii controllers but still :x

LOL, It's not distinguish it from the Wii controllers, it's a core part of how the system works. The balls light up, the camera sees the balls.

But you knew that, right?

Might pick up the Move controller on its own to use with the games from that list I already own and maybe Echochrome 2 but the rest of that list looks pretty unappealing to me. I'm still annoyed that the US gets Sports Champions bundled while we just get the demos.

So when PS3 noobs go through that learning stage Wii owners did and throw their controllers at the tv, it'll be cushioned....

duh

It's like simple science bro

Did anyone elses PS3 not come with big colourful balls stuck around it?

Sony just like to stick them on things for fun. :p

Cool, didn't know that. I thought it was solid. Less chance of breakage.

I did actually know it wasn't just to distinguish it from a Wii controller yes, but why i'm explaining myself to you i don't know. I read this thread.

The only thing i didn't realize, was that its necessary to make sure every post contained enough information before the fail brigade jump in. Sad little ****ers.

wonder how much it will cost in GBP

RRP for bundle (Wand/EyeToy/Sub Controller) is £99, which you can get online just now for £74.99.

RRP for Sub Controller/Move controller on their own is £34.99 each, both can be pre-ordered online for around £30 - DS3 or Sixaxis can substitute sub controller.

And the Wand/Eye only combo is like £50 or something.

IIRC I've got my prices right or there about, feel free to correct.

please tell me the move wand doesnt vibrate or there will be a sudden influx of teen girl gamers......

Yes it vibrates tongue.gif

BTW, stop quoting the GIF please :)

I think you missed the joke, lol.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was ?350 for the whole bundle.

But personally for that price I would be expecting at least the nav controller too.
