Eversurf
I have been looking around for a way to increase the color in my terminal server sessions using windows 2000 server and XP clients, but it seems that it is limited to 256 colors. Can someone confirm that with me? Thank you For your information 2k3 supports more then 256 colors
darkmark327
XP supports more than 256 colors as well, but it depends on the client PCs color settings, and on to what you are connecting. If you are connecting to 2000 or NT4, you will only get 256. Only XP & 2K3 have higher. I use 24-bit myself, connecting to my XP box with the XP client. tkyoshi
A possible solution would be to use a 3rd party product such as VNC or PC Anywhere. Citrix is also a solution but it's very costly and ment for business. It's like a supercharged version of Terminal Services. It was co designed by microsoft with citrix systems.
