Bad look with webkit browsers

Question

I need your help.

Can you please tell me what's wrong with the code for this page

http://tinyurl.com/38pur7u

that appears as it should in firefox and internet explorer, but not in browsers that use webkit like safari and chrome?

This color in the bottom of the page (downwards of '? 2002-2010') should not be appeared. It is a mistake. Maybe something going wrong with webkit rendering. Is it a fault in the code? How can I make it appear correctly in safari-chrome?

To see what the page should look like you just have to open it with ff or ie.

The page was made with dreamweaver. I spent lots of hours 'playing' with tags' options (tables, cells) but I did not manage to repair it.

If you need additional info to find out the problem, please tell me.

I see what you mean by how it should look in Firefox and IE. Below the copyright is a large blank space. The funny thing is when I went to "inspect the element" in chrome it disappeared.

I notice your table has a 100% height assignment. That could be causing the rendering issue. I know that browsers don't really like that much.

I uploaded a new version of the file (1.php) after the deletion of all the '100%' entries.

It looks better now, but not perfect as it appears in ff/ie.

What else to repair now?

Maybe safari/chrome looks better now but I found that ff do not display the pages so good as it did!

See what I mean(ff screenshot) with the new file uploaded.

So I have to upload the old file again. I prefer to see a good page the majority of users(ff/ie) rather than the minority. It is not a good practice to fix something and destroy something else. After all, this site is designed a few years ago, with ie/ff in mind. So, all it has to be done is to make pages safari/chrome compliant.

What else beside the '100%' entries would cause the problem?
