Why would anyone buy this? I mean for like personal collections. Mainly I don't see any point in doing anything more then renting it on DVD, as in less then a year, (probably around next april or so ) there should be the Box set with all 3 movies in special edition and the animatrix. Besides the casual DVD watcher, i'd expect most fans would rather wait for a nice big shiney box set! The same reason is why i'll wait for Lord Of The Rings DVD set.

Fans would wait? No way, fans would buy everything, same as what I've been doing with Lord of the Rings. There were extras on the crappy august release of LotR last year that weren't on the special edition, so I bought both, same this year.

does anyone know if itll be encoded in dts??? cant wait for this to come out. hopefully there will be more extras like deleted scenes and outakes
