[WordPress] 'Top Level' Directory for WP 3 Multisite Sites?

Question

Does anybody know where the 'top level' directory for sites using the WordPress 3.0 Multisite feature is located?

Basically, I currently have a site running WP3 with the Multisite functionality enabled. I want to assign a robots.txt to one of the subdomains in the network but I am not sure where to put it in order for it to appear like this: subdomain.domain.com/robots.txt

So I tossed it up just to look over things.. Since I put it into another directory (/dev/neowin/), you can't do wildcard subdomains but each blog was under /dev/neowin/<<blog>>/.

Have you looked at all under your main directory for your Wordpress install?

Yup. I'm not using subdirectory installs, but subdomain ones. In the subdomain version, all there is are the standard WP folders and files.

Yup, wildcard subdomains still need to reference a directory. If I create sub.domain.com via a control panel, a directory is still created called "sub."
