A bunch of Malaysian masked machete-wielding robbers didn?t just leave the victim?s house with about RM150,000 (around 50k USD) in cash and valuables but they?re also leave the kids who are present during the robbery with some words of valuable advice.

?Don?t become robbers like us. Study hard, become doctors and lawyers and make your parents proud,? they told the six primary schoolchildren who are attending a tuition class in the victim house.

The house in Taman Batang, Melaka was entered by the robbers at about 9pm and they held up a tuition teacher, M. Sashi, 35, who are giving lessons to the kids aged between 8 and 11. There are no mentions of how they entered the house as the robbers tied Mr. Sashi, his wife and his elderly mother before asked the children to lie down and remain silent. One of the kid?s uncle, who came to the house to fetch his 10 year-old nephew, was also held and tied up.

Sashi said the robbers had also asked his mother for their forgiveness.

?Don?t think too harshly of us. We too are like your son trying to make a living. Forgive us,? those are the words that one of the robbers supposed to be said.

The local CID chief Asst Supt, Ahzarha Abdul Rahim said the robbers, believed to be in their 20?s, stole an estimated RM150,000 worth of jewelery, an LCD television set and RM1,500 (around 450 USD).

?We believe the robbers may have known the victims or were working for someone who knew them,? she said.
