I've been working hard on a new web startup for the past few months... and it's finally hit it's first beta. I've been a bit too close to the project so I'd love to get your feedback on the site ... specifically concept, design... and what should I do next.
Before you go to it, let me just give you the exec summary. Miimr is place where users can post/talk about anything and tag their posts with the main topic points (ie Microsoft, Windows, Win7 etc..). When you post it, it will show your post as well as the brief description of what you've tagged (to help other users understand what you're trying to say w/o having to google/bing it). The database has about 11 million records, so users can pretty much tag their posts with most things in the world.
You can also follow things that interest you. In doing so, you get all the status updates from the posts people have tagged with that thing. So, if you follow Microsoft, everytime someone tags their post with Microsoft, you will see it in your feed.
That's pretty much the site in a nutshell. I'd love to hear your thoughts as I try to prioritize what to do next.
