DrunknMunky Veteran Posted July 26, 2010 Veteran Share Posted July 26, 2010 UK charts: Modern Warfare 2 disappears from top ten, Toy Story 3 takes biscuitJuly 26th, 2010 @ 10:17 By Johnny Cullen Now here’s something you don’t see every day: Modern Warfare 2 not being in the top ten of the UK charts. The Infinity Ward shooter charted this week at number 11, down two from nine. It’s actually the second time since its release 37 weeks ago that it’s appeared outside the top ten. We’re just getting the date on the other time for you now. Before that, it had a massive nine week reign as number one, selling 1.7 million units in launch week in the UK last November, as well as taking last year’s Christmas number one. As for this week’s numero uno, that goes to Toy Story 3, followed by Red Dead Redemption, Dance on Broadway, Lego: Harry Potter and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11. Full top ten’s below. All without MW2. Last week’s data is here. 1. Toy Story 3 (Disney Interactive Studio, Disney) 2. Red Dead Redemption (Rockstar San Diego, Rockstar) 3. Dance on Broadway (Ubisoft, Ubisoft) 4. Lego: Harry Potter: Years 1-4 (TT Games, Warner Bros Interactive) 5. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 (EA Sports, EA) 6. Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Nintendo, Nintendo) 7. 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa (EA Sports, EA) 8. Just Dance (Ubisoft, Ubisoft) 9. Dragon Quest IX (Square Enix, Nintendo) 10. Crackdown 2 (Ruffian Games, Microsoft Games Studios) http://www.vg247.com/2010/07/26/uk-charts-modern-warfare-2-disappears-from-top-ten-toy-story-3-takes-biscuit/ Can we all work together to get rid of it from XBL/PSn top 10 played lists now too, please? :D

Brendando
Finally. This game garnered way too much hype and didn't deserve to be so high on the charts for so long. :p

mistical
but its a movie tie-in so isnt it crap? (toy story 3?) Yes, majority of the time they are. But Toy Story 3 is definitely not one of them. The story mode pretty much follows the entire movie, with some differences here and there which is not a flaw but extending ones imagination from the movie itself. They do great at it. Then there is the Toy Box mode which adds even more fun hours into the game. I personally think that anyone that enjoys gaming and Toy Story 3 should check this game out. Be it just a rental, purchase a used copy or buying the full game at retail price. I personally rented it and put enough time into the game, you can pretty much beat everything within a week especially if you are going for achievements at all. Toy Story games have never been crap either, I remember playing Toy Story 1 on Super Nintendo and that game as great and a lot of fun. Then there was Toy Story 2 on basically all consoles back then, I played it on Nintendo 64 and still had a lot of fun on there too. This was all many years ago when I was a teen and still had no disappointments from them. Yeah probably. I'm not wasting money to find out for sure though :p The same goes to you as I said above, the game is actually good and does not fall into the crap area. I recommend you rent it, if you want to put a small percentage of money into a rental to play it, if you want to that is. Either way, I do not care what either of you do in the end but it was actually a good game. Considering that when I was sitting in the movie theatre for Toy Story 3 and saw a preview for the video game before the movie started, it looked terrible. I had free video game rentals to use, so I decided to pick up Toy Story 3, well it ended up being quite the opposite of a disappointment and totally the opposite from the graphics I saw in the theatre on screen. DrunknMunky Veteran Posted July 26, 2010 Author Veteran Share Posted July 26, 2010 I remember enjoying the original TS game on the Mega Drive, but it's not the sort of thing I'd enjoy now.
