THQ?s announced that Warhammer 40K: Space Marine will be coming to PC, as well as PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The title, a third-person action shooter RPG thingy, was announced in May last year for just PS3 and 360 at the time.

Relic boss Jonathan Dowdeswell said: ?The loyal PC audience is incredibly important to us here at Relic so we are delighted to be able to announce the PC version of the game.?

THQ?s Travis Plane added: Delivering great content the fans want to play is the key goal in the core games division at THQ so we are pulling out all of the stops to make this the best possible game for PC and console audiences alike.?

Some new shots are below.

GOOD NEWS. It better be from scratch and not no ****ty port because they just remembered us the "local PC audience" After not saying anything about PC last year....

RELIC don't let me down.

Sweet! I saw this for the PS3/X360 and I was somewhat disappointed that it wasn't announced for the PC as well. I'm glad Relic has decided to release it on PC and I certainly hope it isn't a simple port. They've been good to the PC crowd so I don't have to do much hoping. :)

Disappointed on the 3rd person bit. Space Marine armor has been BEGGING for a FPS view. I too am hoping its for better sword control and not console sensabilites.

Will this be anything like the abysmal red alert/command and conquer game I think it was that was in TP/FP, that was so bad even the pirates wanted their money back.

I'm glad it's not 1st person.

Too many 1st person games out lately and it's getting old.

I feel the opposite. Too many 3rd person over the shoulder games, and it's getting old.
