Ubisoft has released a short teaser for the 30-minute film Ghost Recon: Alpha, from Oscar winners Fran?ois Alaux and Herv? de Cr?cy.

To be released this fall as a prequel to Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, Alaux and Crecy are the film?s directors, and it was written by Tim Sexton and Gregory Pruss. Littleminx, a division of Ridley Scott and Associates, is also involved with the project.

Ghost Recon has been delayed into 2011, and is expected to hit retail sometime between January 1 and March 31 on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

I can't wait for this game. Some of the most recent FPS that tried to be realistic ended up being good but feeling cheap.

Take Bad Company 2 single player for example. The game is really good but many times you see yourself shooting a guy 5-6 times in the chest just to kill him. Or even headshots, when sometimes you need 2 or 3 bullets to kill a man with a machine gun.

Having CPU squad members that won't die no matter what doesn't help either.
