(5.0 Build 27) NOVEMBER 30TH, 2010 After a busy November, we’re back with an update to Trillian for Windows, Build 27! Much of our server migration and upgrade process is now complete and we’re ready to release some of the code we’ve been working on. There are a few important pieces of information that go along with this build: Build 27 includes code that will test the history synchronization quietly; sync will not be exposed and visible to users! This is an important test that will allow us to simulate production load and make last minute fixes to the servers. During the test, no personal information or actual conversation history is being sent. You will have the choice to opt out of history synchronization completely once we officially unveil it; for now, randomly generated character arrays are being used to test server load. Unless something goes catastrophically wrong, the full functionality should be unveiled to users in the next few builds. Additionally, now that our server migration is complete, builds will be released more frequently again. A handful of important bugs were also smashed in Build 27.
