quick question

the server im using has had all ports except mysql and http blocked, can i run both web and ftp off the http port?

thats all.

no, you can only listen on a port with one program at a time. otherwise there is no way to determine which service the client is trying to connect to..

what you could do is install phpmyadmin on the http server (so you have web and mysql accessable from port 80) and then install the FTP server on port 3306 (mysql port) instead of port 21 which can probably be configured in the ftp server's configuration

that seems like the best bet, i deal with lots of php editing and hate upload managers lol, its mroe of a hassle having to upload and download, ftp makes it easy.
