8071053D Trophies Sync Error- PSN Maintenance

Recommended Posts

Just a heads up. Sony is doing trophy and PSN maintenance today and they made an announcement that we would not be able to access or sync trophy information.

You will get this error 8071053D if you sync and please dont do the workaround for this error.

I spend like an hour trying to resolve it and end up restoring the default settings but a good think happened i am getting 1080p(HDMI) though my ps3 now. I use to get only SD before.

How do you mean, an auto-update for trophies?

Like XBL, where you don't have to do the Sync Trophies operation each time you look at your trophies.

Not that I'm defending the way it is at the moment, but the sync operation takes a couple of seconds, I don't mind waiting that long. Now if it took 5 minutes each time, that would be different.

Takes longer for me.

Why didn't you just go into display settings and change it to a HD resolution? :s

because I thought SD is the maximum ps3 can output......

btw, during my first configuration ps3 never gave me an option for selecting the HDMI cable instead it went to SD.

I have had ps3 for only 6 months now

I know someone else that was playing in SD resolution, I went around theirs to play a game and nearly choked on my beer. Another person that thought he had set it up and all was ok :/

It's just annoying that every time you get a trophy you need to remember to sync up, which for some people can take a while.

Why every trophy? Just do it a couple times a week or so. Or, if you're playing FF13 like me, once every 2 - 3 weeks, since that's about how often they pop.

Yeah, I wait till I get maybe 3 or 4 trophies then I sync them.
