LiveAndFight
Hey, First off I hope my topic doesn't break any rules, but I really need to find a good educational game for a six year old. My girlfriends god son has been failing all of his first grade classes. This is mainly due to the fact his dad is a "gangster"(poser) and his mom is a drug dealer so were fighting for custody of him. But anyway I'm willing to pay whatever but I have been searching online for educational games but they are all for Windows 95-2000, does anyone here know of any newer games? I'd like to start him on a 2nd grade game so he can start to learn how to spell his name( he doesn't even know how to do that). There was a game when I was kid that I used to play called "I.M. Mean", I've tried to search EBAY for it but its not there. It was a old dos game based on the DOOM engine, but it was a first person shooter style game where you had to rescue kids and fight off monsters. Are there any more recent games like that? I've even searched abondonware sites for the game as well but I can't find it. Ill buy the older games and run it in Dosbox/VmWare if I have to but if there is anything newer id hope to get that. I've started him off writing his name, and I hope to get him into multiplication as early as I can. Hes more of a visual learner, which is why I think he would benefit from a educational game. My computer is a 64bit Windows 7 box 8gb RAM ATI Radeon HD 5700. -Justin
a bee
It's called "I.M. Meen" which results with several copies on ebay. I hope this helps your search. By the way, I.M. Meen is recognized these days for being staffly related to the infamous CDi Zelda and Mario games for its bad animation which provides inspiration to derive with to create unfunny videos dubbed "Youtube Poop" on the internet for attention purposes; so if you are recommended that game, then it's a bad joke.
