MR_Candyman
I'm loving this thread... the obvious generation gaps are, well, obvious. heh I forgot about the Amiga. There was a side-scrolling robot game with a kick-ass heavy metal soundtrack that ate up a bunch of my time back in the day. Too bad that system flopped. Perhaps you mean It is one of my favorite all time games. I miss Psygnosis. They made some great games

BlackSteyrAug
Where to begin? Quake, Stonekeep, Diablo, Warcraft, Age of Empires, Command & Conquer (esp Red Alert), and Wing Commander (DOS) Those games made me into a gamer. However, the game that sealed the deal into addiction status (Quite a bit later): Diablo 2 + LOD.

I also remember Impossible Mission on the C-64 and the creepy guy who started off saying: "Stay awhile......Stay forrrrevvveeerrrrr!!!!" Never did beat it though. DrunkenBeard
Aladin, Sonic (1 and 2) and Soccer 96 on the SMS. I played games before that time, but those 3 were the ones that really got me into "serious" gaming. Oh, and the first game I ever beat was Day of The Tentacles (Lucasart), which is awesome. I didn't beat Maniac Mansion thou, which is a shame :(
