ramsy66
shopto.net is the place i go to for pre-orders. guaranteed day of release delivery, but it's more than often delievered the day before release. they're cheap, too.
LightShadow
GAME. Their delivery is good, free delivery. And normally for pre-orders they ship out early and it will come definitely on the day of release. Or in some cases even early.
CaptainSlow
I usually go to Game.co.uk for a number of reasons... It's a brand I know Prices are usually cheaper online comared to their actual stores If the prices increases before release, they'll charge you at the price you pre-ordered at If the price goes down, they'll charge you at the new price I've had all my preorders from them either a day early, or the day of release! They've never charged my card until the product has been shipped
ynnoj
Usually Amazon or ShopTo, but for Halo: Reach I went with Tesco simply because I managed to grab it for ?26.
oceanmotion
Pick it up day 1 during a supermarket price war ? Game have been spot on for me over the years though not the cheapest. Amazon are also good.
+jamesyfx Subscriber² Posted August 12, 2010 Subscriber² Share Posted August 12, 2010 To be honest it varies.. I normally choose a pre-order jugding by what stuff you get thrown in. :p

red.
The best site i've had for pre-orders is ShopTo. They're usually always the cheapest and have always got my order on the day of release or a day or two (in the case of Killzone 2) early.
Fubar
I always use shopto myself, cheap and always deliver a few days before release :)

+Audioboxer Subscriber² Posted August 13, 2010 Subscriber² Share Posted August 13, 2010 HotUKDeals and Gamestracker are the only two sites I use often. And the NeoGAF EU deals thread. Sign up for Quidco as well for cashback.
jonmoseley8
The main site I use is Game as like the others said you get free delivery and I have never had a game arrive late from them (if anything it arrives early). If I cannot get a game from Game (Like the GT5 Collectors Edition) I will use Amazon or Play. I prefer to go with Game if I can though because I get Reward Points that I can then use to buy games and hardware with (although I have just spent them on a Xbox 360 Controller for windows so I only have 98p). :)

+jamesyfx Subscriber² Posted August 13, 2010 Subscriber² Share Posted August 13, 2010 Just to throw a spanner in the works, I see a lot of praise for shopto.. I had a terrible experience with them early this year - I contacted them by several different methods asking for support but they didn't respond to ANY. :p No support at all. Having allegiances to one is where you begin to waste money. GameGears have some terrible prices for games released last year for example. Plus their sales are pathetic. Their one off sales are brilliant. Not sure what you're talking about tbh.
DrunknMunky Veteran Posted August 14, 2010 Veteran Share Posted August 14, 2010 Are you talking about sales or pre-order prices on x amount of units? Because there is a difference. Their sales are like I said, pathetic. Their pre-order prices can be competitive and sometimes the better deal.

sambrentnall
I think I'm going to pre order from either Game or wait and try and get it from the supermarkets. Does anybody know if there going to be selling it at midnight?
