Context: Because of evidence of an increased risk of chronic carriage in infants of HBeAg-positive women with a high HBV DNA level,we recommend that a conservative approach is taken in the rare case of an anti-HBe-positive women, previously known to have HBV DNA in excess of 107 copies/mL.
