*sigh* Time for some education here.....

The "re-work" of the NT Kernel is NOT Midori as Midori is the codename for Microsoft's Code Managed OS (experimental OS that runs the kernel, hal....device drivers in this instance, and applications in managed code.....about time where that is concerned)

MinWin is the attempt Microsoft is doing to straighten out the Windows code (DLL hell anyone?) and streamline it finally. As of the last time I checked...MinWin is still being worked on and hopefully we can see the results of it in Windows 8 (Windows 9 at the latest).

If anyone has any further questions.....feel free to ask!

I think you'll find if you do some googling around that MinWin was simply a demonstration and is actually 'in' Windows 7 and Windows Vista. Last I heard anyway.

Regardz :)

Thanks, that clears up allot of misconceptions I had.

Windows 8 will get some new technologies like Vista had got and Windows 9 will streamline them like in 7. I think that's the kind of strategy/schedule MS is trying to run Windows on.
