I foresee two outcomes;

It'll be like Crysis where MP is a cluster**** beyond words, everyone are running around at the speed of light, warping around and being able to take 40 shots to the chest and they turn around

and freeze you with some freeze ray, then you're dead.

Or it'll be like every other shooter these days, a bit more 'down to earth' but weapons are as deadly as a wet leek - So players will need around 10 body shots to die.

It looks like Bad Company 2 with invisibility. That's not a bad thing though. This reminds me I still haven't played the first Crysis

I guess it does bear a resemblance to BC2. The graphics are similar (with the lighting and the destructible environment).

That must've been fun. Can you at least tell the world which version you played? :p

I never played MP for the original Crysis but I did play Crysis Wars for a short while. It was fun but the FPS drops and lag made it dull. The maps were decent and the gameplay was bearable, if you didn't mind getting killed by someone running at 999 km/h. I hope it isn't the same for Crysis 2. From what I've seen and read, it looks like MP will be class-based.

Looks alright I guess.. but we all know we won't be buying Crysis 2 for the multiplayer so if it's nicely featured and fun then that's a huge bonus. (Y)

Yeah, the SP is what I'm looking forward to.

Believe this was already posted.

Really? I searched around and couldn't find another thread about it. If it has been posted already, then link the thread here and I'll close this thread.

well it was running on the PC, but it was in a windowed developer mode type thing. There was a 360 under the monitor which was turned on but no controller indicators were on. the 360 controller was a wired one connected to the PC. so it could've either been the 360 version or the pc version! you were also able to use mouse and keyboard as well as the controller so i'd bargain on it being the PC version but i dunno maybe it was the development version for the 360. :wacko:

there was also a ps3 on the desks, but that wasn't even on so it can't have been that.

What do I think? The game looks like it will be a bunch of fun. I am a huge shooter fan, and I love the direction of the game. I question some of the HUD elements, but otherwise amazing.

Easily the best looking game on console.

That video looked pretty fun. I never played the multiplayer in the original Crysis, so I can't comment on that, but this one looks like it has potential. Like most multiplayer FPS games nowadays, there are a lot of things that can go wrong when you have that many special abilities (perks for all intents and purposes) available to the player, but hopefully they can give the game some good beta testing and iron out all of the overpowered elements.

If nothing else, it will certainly be a little different from the myriad of military arcade shooters that we've been hit with in the past few years. That said, I wonder how much longevity it will have when the novelty of using suit powers wears off.
