keph
I'm on a LAN that has a good firewall to protect it from outside (the internet), but I don't entirely trust a certain other computer on the LAN. Does anyone know of a small, light-weight program that would allow me to block all traffic to my computer from a specific IP on the lan? I could always use ZoneAlarm or something like that, but I don't need any of the other features and so don't want all the overhead. Ideally this program would be on my system, not the computer being blocked, but putting it on that system is also an option. Any thoughts or suggestions would be great! Eversurf
What OS are you using. If you are using XP there is a built in firewall and from there you can block specific IP. If you are using windows 9x, i think, i'm not sure, if you go to the TPC/IP configuration you can block incoming ports for an IP. Can someone double check that for me. Have fun!!!
