Marshalus Veteran Posted December 31, 2001 Veteran Share Posted December 31, 2001 The AMD 1600+ is equal in calculations per clock cycle to an Intel P4 2.1 GHz.
Guest Generation X
holy crap! really! that is sweet i wonder what the 1800+ and 1900+ are equal too...wow that is sweet...but that's in clock cycles will it be as good as a 2ghz pentium 4 in like all performance espects or is it just the clock cycle calculations? alright thanx bye! neowin_hipster
What's really ironic is that AMD is way way cheaper than Intel. Intel is familiar, that's their advantage. The Apple G5 clocked at 1.6 is equivalent to a 4+. Already in mass production
Guest Generation X
4+ means what? and the G5 is 1.6mhz right? so like intel pentium 4 1.6 or what? alright hopefully everything works out with the ghosting i'll do from this comp to the new one....see ya! thanx for replying!
