Need website Feedback

Question

Hey guys sorry if this is in the wrong place but I couldn't find anywhere it would fit any better.

Me and a buddy of mine have created a website to try and raise some capital to start our own local brick and mortar business. The site is pretty much complete and we have all of the behind the scenes stuff done (paypal, business banking etc.). I just wanted to let you guys see it before we offically launch tomorrow. Any feedback would be awesome, are the colors right? Would you change the layout at all? Any and all comments are welcome.

Thanks

^ Yeah, but they mentioned that in their FAQ page.

I think it serves it's purpose, it looks a bit bare but then again you can't really draw attention away from the only part of the website.

When I want to promote a product, I'd do it with a publisher that allows me to have my ad on higher traffic and ranked websites. Not some random one.

If you're looking for a quick fix for money, maybe get a job (or a 2nd job)?

Not really looking for a quick fix or an easy ride etc. Just trying out an idea to see if it will work. If so awesome,it will make it much easier to open a store. If not cool, we will go through the regular channels. As far as people using us for promotion, we are trying to get popular so that people will want to. Right now I'm just looking to get the look and feel right. Thanks for the feedback though.

I dig the design.

The only thing I'd change is the blog post footers (staff/comment/share). As it is currently I think it pulls to much attention from the titles. Maybe get rid of the background and just give it bottom border or something. I think it being smaller, spacier and centred already differentiates it enough from the blog post content for users to understand it's not part of it.

I found a typo on your buy page:

but ou are granted

Hope that helps, good luck with your business.
