Changelog - December 2010

Credit to:

Copernic for finding PotPlayer -

hayc59 for finding Outpost Security Suite Free -

Chester0 for finding NetSpeedMonitor -

star.gifHaoZip - A very impressive freeware for managing archives. To list some features:

Interface and features very similar to WinRAR

Full support for ZIP, TAR, and 7Z including LZMA2 and SFX executables

Extract 40+ file types, including some installers

Adjust compression level based on file type

Convert, Encrypt, Test, and Repair existing archives

File search, including search inside of archives

Built-in image viewer (View images without extracting), image converter, text editor

Calculate MD5, SHA1 hash of files

Pretty much everything else you'd expect (drag & drop, context menu, auto-updater, etc.)

WinArchiver Virtual Drive - A virtual drive software which can mount ZIP, RAR, and 7Z archives as well as many common CD images.

Dell KACE - Dell KACE is an unofficial build of Firefox which runs in a secure sandbox. This prevents any malware from escaping the sandbox and infecting the rest of your system.

MotoDiary | Web-Based - A web-based diary that is locally encrypted, meaning that all data is encrypted on your PC before it is uploaded to the server. Nobody can view your diary except for you.

GmailDefaultMaker - Set GMail, Yahoo, AOL, or Hotmail as the default email client

Chameleon Window Manager - Adds several buttons to window titlebars, including to roll up the window and minimize to tray.

VistaUACMaker - Makes older applications compatible with Vista / 7 by enabling a UAC prompt to run as administrator. Handy for portable applications.

NetSpeedMonitor - A network bandwidth monitor which integrates into the taskbar, displaying up and down speed. Also keeps a history of bandwidth usage, which you can view by day or month.
