Or you know, you could stop using IE6. It might not be a helpful solution to your problem, but there is just no need to still be using it. You may as well crack out firewood and flint to make dinner if you're insisting on using IE6 (that might be a slight exaggeration, but we're coming up on IE9 now, get with the times!).

I don't think he's the one using IE6. He's just trying to support it.

Well that shouldn't happen either for exactly the same reasons. I understand that some businesses still use IE6, but the sooner the rest of the Internet stops supporting it, the sooner the businesses will get their act together and upgrade. And heaven forbid if you're catering for the home user that has IE6, there's just no excuse for that.

Wow that is ridicolously odd. I think i should stop working late at night, becuase i tested the site in both IETester and XP Mode and the main content wrap was completely misaligned. Now its magically fixed? Im not complaining... but sorry for the false alarm. It was driving me mad!

@the better twin Ill check out that link thanks.

Also, the little menu, is meant to be floating left. But is stuck over the right. Any ideas? Seems to be the same in all versions of IE but works fine in FF?

@Intrinsica I think that is a very arrogant attitude. Maybe i should block access from those on dialup? Or those with low resolutions? Why not just block everyone who hasnt purchased a PC in 2010? This is a project for a small business. If youre business is turning over enough cash to be able to push potential clients away, then thats great for you but not all of us can afford that luxury. Sure im not going to deploy IE6, but i will support it as long as customers use it.

Sometimes I would forget about IE6, but for a more or less standard-looking layout would be mad not to support it. Your layout looks quite simple so it would look more like poor design rather than a technical limitation if it doesn't work in IE6.
