4 - 4 = 8

That's right!

I bet you are wondering quite how this abnoxious statement could be true, better yet how in gods name can someone stating it be sane???

Well it's easy!

Grab a piece of A4, notice it has 4 corners, cut each corner in turn and what do you have?

8 Corners!

Therefore 4 - 4 = 8 !

Please don't hurt me

How about this, I don't know if it's been posted before but here it goes.

Three men go on a road trip and decide to check into motel for the night. The room costs $30 so each guy chips in $10. The bellboy takes their bags and they all head over to the room. When the bellboy comes back down the receptionist says, "The room is actually $25 dollars" so she give the bellboy $5 to give back to the three men. On his way up the bellboy says, "It's too hard to split $5 bucks among three men so he takes $2 dollars and goes up and give each man $1 back.

Therefore each man paid $9 dollars the the room so that's 9x3 = $27 and the bellboy has $2 which makes it $29... So where is the missing dollar?

ypu are doing the math wrong, 25+3 = 28, not 27

each man payed 10 dollars initiallly, they were supposed to be given back 1/3 of 5 dollars(roughly $1.67) each, instead they were given back 1/5 of 5 dollars($1) each.

so, each man thinks he payed 9 dollars, when he actually payed about 9.33

theres your missing 1... .33x3 = 99 (1)

The explanation is wrong, that's the trick... you can't add the "tip" to the expenses because the "tip" is already included in the expenses (the $ 2 are included in the $ 27 paid)...;))

Room $ 25 + boy $ 2 = $ 27

3 Passengers $ 9 x 3 = $ 27

or

(Room $ 25) + (tip $ 2) + (one dollar per passenger $ 1 x 3) = $ 30

There is not money missing...:pp

BTW, is too old and already posted..... and the original joke is not fun...:
