Looks like this would be the important information:

Minimum RMS Outpput Power per Channel MAIN, 1kHz, 0.1% THD, 6Ω 25W + 25W

Nominal Input Power 40 Watts

Maximum Input Power 110 Wats

This is an older model bookshelf mini-stereo. It's pretty nice, but I don't have any speakers for it. I was hoping I could get some suggestions for a decent set of speakers for this. Thanks ;)

Thanks guys. My budget is probably more like the speakers jerzdawg posted, just because it's an older system and won't get hard use. Thanks for the suggestions!

Although the ProMonitor 800 seem pretty nice and have good reviews.

I'm in the process of piecing my set up together and checked out the ProMonitor series. The 1000s sounded better than the 600/800 line but they lack if you're going purely 2.0. The ones Im going to check out next are the StudioCinema 350/450 bookshelfs as I've read they do much better at providing a midrange punch.
