0 KM.
Is this like Fark but without the humour then? I could really use something like this if it going to be comprehensive.
0 Joseph Ghassan
It is a mix Between Digg and Propeller. TrimHold mainly aggregate top news from top sites and organize them into categories for your pleasure to read and discuss. You can follow users and get followed, post on your wall ( Facebook style ) and even create your own version of TrimHold. You can connect your twitter or Facebook account to TrimHold. You can vote for news ( trim them like digg it ) and decide which news is going to the top. Plus, there is a ranking system with pints and levels. 0 Rudy
I think the market is already a bit saturated, not sure I would add your site to my bookmarks :/
0 Joseph Ghassan
I think the market is already a bit saturated, not sure I would add your site to my bookmarks :/ Yeah, you have a point. But if you look at Diaspora which is the recent alternative for facebook, you would say the same. The thing is being a senior .NET developer I watched all these news portals out there from topix to digg and felt the need to create something that sums these up but yet remain simple. What do you think is missing in TrimHold that you like to see most ? I am ready to listen to ideas and implement them in TrimHold. Thanks for your input sir. I appreciate it. Here's some issues I can see: - Lack of a community (I know it's kinda catch-22 since you have to start some where...), the post with the most comments on it has 3 comments :/ - "Trim it".... uh.... not sure what to say on that one....it just doesn't "sound" right - Latest News Headlines have all been posted -25 seconds ago

With some marketing strategies I think I can build one. 2- As for "trim it" I used the same approach as digg it, maybe it is somewhat out of context but I will look at alternative naming. 3- Yes, it is on my bug list, hopefully a new build will be released by saturday. There is a lot to improve in the site. You know it is a one man show ! But thanks again and hopefully I will see you there ! Thanks mate.

To me it's sounds like a bad thing, kinda like on digg you used to be able to "bury" a post
