whipper25
love the roots..and that track is phenomenal...i love how they recorded the whole album with live instruments if you get the chance, get cody chesnutt's album...actually, it was meant to be a demo, but people that heard it liked it so much that they convinced him to release it as is..so it became a lo-fi (he recorded it in his apartment), 2 disc, 36 track album, and rare to find...the seed 2.0 was actually a rendition of 'the seed' by chesnutt himself and is found on his 'headphone masterpiece' album..the roots amped it up and put verses in it, but kept the hook... check out chesnutt's 'serve this royalty'..another great track off his album..i'm sure you can find it on kazaa http://www.codychesnutt.com

khaos34
The Seed 2.0 is awecome... The Roots are one of the most original and influential hip-hop acts ever... They're just awesome. I love when the drummer integrates drum and bass type beats into some of their songs - besides that, he's just good. Rahzel... what more is there to say? The way they help other bands play and be noticed is cool too. All around good group.

Rawrasaurus
i love the roots. 'Come Alive' is such a wickid live album. i tried to get Illadelph Halflife, but it was ?17, so i thought i'd look around for it somewhere cheaper:)) i jsut gotta thank my bro for getting one of their albums a few years back, before i was really influenced by many bands or music types etc. and then after listening to 'do you want more', i was just like 'yes!' great group. sheer
The Roots own. One of their favourite performances for me is with Jay Z on MTV Live, with Jaguar Wright on backing vocals upstaging Mary J Blige IMO.

djgramma
Could you say one of the only good hip hop acts out there that don't sound like everything else in hip pop and ©rap? I think so, but I can't say that I don't like hip hop, just the poppy stuff. Rap is tiring, that's why I don't listen to it much, I hear it enough everywhere anyways (damn eminem and 50 cent) Anyways, awesome track!
newsgeek
Sounds cool, thanks. :) I also do like the live instruments. :D :fro: (Y)
