macatak911
my router is an ethernet cable based router....how is the wireless device goign to connect to that?
Steven
my router is an ethernet cable based router....how is the wireless device goign to connect to that? Fixed. You'll need a Wireless AP that hooks up to the router, like the Linksys WAP11. You could probably replace the whole router, with the Wireless AP + Cable/DSL Router + 4 Port Swich for less. Steven
WAP 11 : http://www.linksys.com/products/product.as...cid=35&prid=501 BEFW11S4 : http://www.linksys.com/products/product.as...cid=35&prid=540 Like I said, buying a new wireless router combo, is probably less. Distance shouldn't matter.
